Favorite class or instructor: A funny story – while library science grad students were struggling to keep up with the technology driven information storage and retrieval coursework, I was assigned an internship at the Chemistry Library. Just think of the theses and dissertations my computerized literature searches would advance for these brilliant minds of science. Not so according to Head Librarian Ruth Powell who had been there like a hundred years. She could hear a candy wrapper crinkle from ANY distance and would send her Intern to bust the students for having food in the library! Meanwhile I was to keep a close eye on the copier for illegal usage of copier key passes for non-chemistry major girlfriends and boyfriends tagging along.
